Education & Training

2006  Graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure du Paysage, Versailles. Subsequently taught there as a professor until 2014.

1982–1983  Fulbright Fellowship (France) - Master of Fine Arts, Pratt Institute, New York.

1976–1982  École des Beaux-Arts de Valence - studios with Jacques Clerc (printmaking and sculpture), Pierre Buraglio (painting), and lithography with Pierre Soulages. Studio in the Drôme, near the Palais du Facteur Cheval. Concurrent studies in contemporary art history in Grenoble, and in English and French literature.

1973–1975  Apprenticeship in printmaking at Atelier Lacourière-Frélaut, Montmartre, Paris - with Jacques Frélaut.

2016  Four Winds Fine Art Award — 2nd New York International Miniature Print Exhibition - Jury selection by Fred Kiehls, Curator, Whitney Museum of American Art.

2015  International Miniature Print Competition, New York — jury selection - Selected by Sarah Suzuki, Curator at the MoMA.

2011  Société Générale — Artist of the Year - Selected by Société Générale to create an edition of lithographs printed at the Michael Woolworth Studio, Paris. The award-edition work, Blue Note, was printed in its dedicated presentation case.

2009  Artists of Today — Evian - Honoured as one of the Artists of Today at a show in Evian celebrating the La Ruche community, past and present. Featured in the Art en scène catalog (Éditions Alternatives, page 185).

2000  Series of works on paper — acquired by the Musée Rodin - A series of works on paper entered the Musée Rodin collection, Paris.

1982  Fulbright Scholarship — Pratt Institute, New York - Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the Master's program at Pratt Institute, New York (1982–1983). The resulting engraving, Eva's Magic World, was jury-selected for the Architecture in the Contemporary Print Show at Pratt Manhattan Gallery alongside Rauschenberg and Christo.
